Your 2022 GMC Acadia's recommended maintenance schedule is listed in your owner's manual. If you can't locate the manual or have a question about when to bring your SUV for maintenance service, no problem. Just contact Burns Buick GMC, your Gloucester Township Buick GMC dealer.
GMC recommends bringing your Acadia for routine maintenance at 7,500-mile intervals. These are some of the maintenance milestones you'll encounter while owning your 2022 Acadia.
7,500 Miles
Your Acadia will notify you when you're within 600 miles of your next scheduled 7,500-mile oil change. Our service technicians will change the vehicle's oil and oil filter during this service visit. At this time, they'll also inspect the brakes and several other components and systems, including the parking brake, accelerator pedal, exhaust system, fuel system, engine air cleaner filter, power steering, automatic transmission shift lock control, starter switch and more. They'll also check the levels of the washer fluid and the engine coolant. They'll rotate the tires to prevent uneven wear. These services will be repeated during each scheduled maintenance visit.
22,500 Miles
In addition to the services mentioned above, the service technicians will also replace your Acadia's passenger cabin air filter.
45,000 Miles
When your 2022 Acadia reaches 45,000 miles, the service technicians will check the vehicle's evaporative control system. They'll replace the engine air cleaner filter and the cabin air filter. If your model is equipped with four-wheel drive, they'll change the transfer case fluid.
100,000 Miles
The 100,000-mile service includes a replacement of the spark plugs, the engine air filter, and the automatic transmission fluid and filter. The service team will look for signs of damage in the exhaust system, the fuel system, and the ignition wires.
Check the tires once a month for wear, and make sure they're inflated to the proper level. It's also a good idea to check your 2022 GMC Acadia engine's oil level when you get gas. If the level is too low, add the right oil for your vehicle. This information is in your owner's manual, but feel free to call us if you need help determining which type of oil to use.
