The 2020 GMC Terrain comes in four trim levels, listed as SL, SLE, SLT and Denali. According to the GMC dealer near Vineland, the GMC Terrain is powered by a standard 1.5-liter turbo-four engine that generates 170 hp and 203 lb-ft of torque, connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission. A 2.0-liter turbo-four engine is available. This unit puts out 250 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque and is also paired to the nine-speed automatic gearbox. Both engines get standard front-wheel drive and available all-wheel drive. The Terrain has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds when properly equipped.

Terrain SL
The Terrain SL may be the base model, but it still comes with a nice set of standard features, including active grille shutters, 17-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, active noise cancellation, and keyless entry and ignition. The standard infotainment setup comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch touchscreen, four USB ports and Bluetooth.

Step up to the SLE trim and you'll get some more standard features, including a self-dimming rearview mirror, as well as the ability to purchase some option packages that are unavailable on the SL trim, including the Driver Convenience package, the Infotainment I package and the Driver Alert package.

Terrain Denali
The top-of-the-line Denali trim gets exclusive styling cues inside and out, as well as most of the available features from the lower trim levels, including a Bose audio system, a navigation system, driver's side memory settings, a 360-degree camera system and a wireless device charging pad. Optional features include ventilated front seats, heated outboard rear seats, automatic high beams, a self-parking feature and a premium suspension.
