You'll find the recommended maintenance schedule in your GMC owner manual, but if you have any questions, feel free to contact Burns Buick GMC, your Mansfield GMC dealer. GMC recommends bringing your Acadia in for routine maintenance at 7,500-mile intervals.
Here are some examples of service highlights for your 2020 GMC Acadia.
7,500 Miles
Fortunately, your 2020 GMC Acadia will remind you when you are within 600 miles of your next scheduled 7,500-mile oil change. This service visit includes an oil and oil filter change, tire rotation and inspection, and a multi-point vehicle inspection. Items the service technician will check include the brakes, accelerator pedal, automatic transmission shift lock control, engine coolant, washer fluid, ignition transmission lock, parking brake, automatic transmission park mechanism, ignition transmission lock, starter switch, engine air cleaner filter, fuel system, exhaust system, power steering and more.
22,500 Miles
At 22,500 miles, the service technicians will perform the same services as the 7,500-mile service. They'll also replace the passenger in-cabin air filter.
30,000 and 37,500 Miles
This period includes an oil change and tire rotation.
45,000 Miles
The 45,000-mile maintenance visit includes an oil and filter change, as well as a tire rotation. At this time, the service technicians will also inspect the evaporative control system and replace the in-cabin air filter and the engine air cleaner filter. If your GMC Acadia is equipped with four-wheel drive, they'll change the transfer case fluid.
75,000 Miles
During the 75,000-mile service, the technician will change the engine's oil and filter, check tire inflation and wear, and rotate the tires.
100,000 Miles
At the 100,000-mile mark, the service technician will replace the engine's air filter, the spark plugs, and the automatic transmission fluid and filter. They'll inspect the ignition wires, the fuel system and the exhaust system for signs of damage.
We recommend checking your engine's oil level whenever you stop for fuel. If the oil level is low, add the correct type of oil for your 2020 GMC Acadia. Check the owner manual. If you're not sure which kind of oil to use, contact the Burns Buick GMC Service Center for assistance.
Check your vehicle's tires for wear every month and make sure they're correctly inflated. Driving on tires that are under- or over-inflated can be dangerous and may shorten the tires' life.
