2019 GMC Terrain Trim Levels

SL

The entry-level SL trim is powered by a 1.5-liter turbo-four engine that makes 170 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque, connected to a nine-speed automatic gearbox. While the SL is the base model, there are still plenty of standard features, including 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless ignition and entry, heated mirrors, privacy glass, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, height-adjustable front seats, a rearview camera, front and rear 110-volt power outlets, and two front and two rear USB ports. Standard technology features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a 7-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth connectivity. The stereo system features six speakers, satellite radio and an aux audio jack. GM's Teen Driver system and the OnStar telematics setup will keep the driver and passengers safe. The SL can add available trailering equipment.

SLE

The SLE and SLT trims are equipped with the 1.5-liter turbo-four engine, but both can choose one of two available units:

• A 2.0-liter turbo-four that produces 252 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque.
• A 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine that generates 137 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque. This block delivers fuel economy estimated by the EPA at 28 mpg in the city and 39 mpg highway with front-wheel drive, and 28 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway with all-wheel drive.*

The SLE trim gets all the equipment of the SL and adds interior trim upgrades, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, additional exterior colors and a compact spare tire. Choosing the SLE trim enables buyers to take advantage of options unavailable on the SL trim, including the Infotainment I package, the Driver Convenience package and the Driver Alert I package. The SLE and SLT trims can also add the available Black Appearance package.

SLT

The SLT trim comes with leather upholstery and the features of the Driver Convenience packages (except navigation) and the Infotainment I package. Available packages for the SLT trim include the Infotainment II package, the Driver Alert I package, the Driver Alert II package and the Preferred package.

Denali

The top-of-the-line Denali trim comes with the 2.0-liter turbo-four block. It features unique interior trim and styling touches, as well as special LED headlights, exclusive 19-inch wheels, and most of the features of the option packages (other than the Driver Alert II package). Available packages include the Comfort package and the Advanced Safety package.
