Dealerships like Palmyra Buick have SL, SLE-1, SLE-2, SLT-1, SLT-2 and Denali trim levels of the Acadia to choose from. The standard engine for most trim levels is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder developing 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. All models, apart from the entry-level SL, have the option of a 3.6-liter V6 that's standard in the top Denali trim. This one produces 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque, and it comes mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available.

SL
Entry-level SL versions of the GMC crossover come very well-equipped in standard form. Exterior features include 17-inch aluminum wheels, deep-tinted glass and heated power outside mirrors. Infotainment is taken care of with a seven-inch touchscreen system with Bluetooth connectivity and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Other standard equipment includes power features, keyless open and start, cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and tri-zone automatic climate control.
SLE-1
The majority of Acadias on lots and in showrooms are likely to be the SLE-1 and higher trim levels. The SLE-1 comes with all the features of the base model, but it also adds LED daytime running lights, first- and second-row carpet mats, SiriusXM radio and a compact spare tire. Rear seat passengers also get their own set of controls for the airflow and temperature of the climate control system.
SLE-2
SLE-2 models take the standard equipment of the SLE-1 and add a programmable power liftgate, heated front seats, fog lamps, an eight-way power driver's seat, remote start, silver roof rails, 18-inch alloy wheels and standard six-passenger seating. The second-row seats also have a feature called SmartSlide, which allows quick and easy access to the third-row seating area with the pull of a lever.
SLT-1
The SLT-1 starts with the SLE-2's already impressive list of features and adds even more equipment. The SLT-1 gets an eight-way power passenger seat, perforated leather seats for the first and second row, auto-dimming mirrors, a premium Bose audio system, a universal home remote and an upgraded eight-inch infotainment screen. Safety equipment also gets an upgrade with the inclusion of the Driver 1 Alert Package, which adds side blind zone alert with lane change alert, rear cross traffic alert and rear parking assist.
SLT-2
Opting for the SLT-2 means the 3.6-liter V6 engine that's optional with lower trims is now standard. The SLT-2 also comes with 20-inch bright aluminum wheels, the memory seat package, heated second-row seats, Intellibeam headlamps, and the Trailering Package with Active Tow. Safety is also upgraded to the Driver Alert 2 Package, so the SLT-2 is packed with some of the most advanced safety features available.
Denali
The Denali is a genuine luxury model at the top of the 2019 GMC Acadia lineup. Standard features include a signature Denali grille, navigation, 20-inch polished alloy wheels, bright roof rails, a full set of carpet mats, a hands-free power liftgate, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, HID headlamps and a reconfigurable driver information center.
