The 2019 GMC Acadia is offered in four trim levels, listed as SL, SLE, SLT and Denali. While the base SL model features a low price tag, you might want to start with the SLE trim, as the SL is a special-order model. If you choose the SL, you'll have to order it and wait while it's being manufactured. The SLE and SLT trims have two subtrims: SLE-1, SLE-2, SLT-1 and SLT-2. The Acadia comes in configurations that seat five passengers in two rows, or six or seven passengers in three rows. All models get a standard six-speed automatic transmission. Buyers can select front- or all-wheel drive on all trims.

Under the hood of the SLT-2 and Denali models sits a 3.6-liter V6 that puts out 310 hp and 271 lb.-ft. of twist. This engine is available on all-wheel-drive SLE-1 subtrims, as well as the SLE-2 and SLT-1. This engine is rated at 18 mpg city/25 mpg highway with front-wheel drive and 17 mpg city/25 mpg highway for all-wheel-drive models.
