Also standard is the Teen Driver system, which allows parents to keep younger drivers safe by setting limits on the vehicle's top speed and the volume of the audio system.
Preferred
The Preferred and Essence trims can take advantage of optional four-wheel drive. The Preferred trim includes the same features found in the base trim, but the Preferred can add on some optional features not available on the base.

Move up to the Sport Touring trim and you'll get remote start, a rear spoiler and foglights. The Sport Touring is eligible for blind-spot monitoring, an upgraded IntelliLink system with navigation, and a seven-speaker premium Bose audio system. (The navigation system and Bose stereo are also optional on the Essence trim.) Like the Essence, the Sport can get an available version of the 1.4-liter engine tuned to deliver 153 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque.
Essence
Opt for the Essence trim and you'll get leather seats, heated rear seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, a heated steering wheel, driver-seat memory and a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.
Premium
The Premium and Premium II trims are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 252 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, connected to a nine-speed automatic gearbox. Both trims get standard all-wheel drive. This powerplant returns 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway with four-wheel drive. With all-wheel drive, the figures are 21 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.
