In a recent review, the experts at Cars.com gave the 2023 GMC Terrain high marks, writing: "The GMC Terrain is the brand's smallest SUV offering, but don't let its size fool you: the SUV still comes with plenty of standard equipment. It also benefits from a host of updates for the 2023 model year that help enhance many of the things we already like about the Terrain."

The 2023 GMC Terrain seats and is offered in four trim levels: SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. The Terrain is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine that puts out 175 hp and 203 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard on the AT4 and Denali models. The others get standard front-wheel drive and available all-wheel drive.
